Kv Poolen Solna , Sweden

Another impressive project in our combined glass-steel-concrete construction (3C) portfolio – Kv Poolen in Solna, Sweden.

The building stands out with its geometry, especially the large overhang part, which covers the swimming pool on the ground floors, rounded corners and large atriums.

UPB covered design, production and assembly of steel and precast concrete elements, including various complex structures such as curved beams and walls. The windows were already pre-installed in our factory, thus delivering a more finished element to the site.

KV Poolen is a joint project of the city of Solna and the developer Fabege with 28,000 m2 of office space and a public swimming pool, planned opening in 2022. General constructor: NCC, architects Strategisk Arkitektur.
